Ana Rasmussen brings a wealth of experience in legislative research and policy analysis to Fuentes Strategies from her years at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, the American Insurance Association and the Baker and Donelson Law Firm. She also brings solid experience from her work at Fannie Mae's Washington, D.C. headquarters, where she was responsible for extensive research projects on issues dealing with the housing industry, banking and finance. While at Fannie Mae she was tasked with coordinating and implementing major citywide events to promote home ownership in the Bay Area. In the Legislative branch, Ana has worked as special assistant to Congressman Luis V. Gutierrez (D-IL). Ana is a native of San Juan, Puerto Rico who moved to Washington, D.C., in 1985, to pursue graduate studies at the American University’s School of International Service.
