Mr. Zavarello is Fuentes Strategies' expert-in-residence for all Financial Services matters, and is known for working across party lines to achieve results. With over 25 years of experience, Mr. Zavarello is a seasoned political and policy expert who advises our clients on issues related to economic and community development, financial services, civil rights, and housing. In particular, in the past five years, Mr. Zavarello has worked as a Senior Staff member at the House Committee on Financial Services, under both Chairman Barney Frank (D-MA) and Ranking Member Maxine Waters (D-CA), respectively. In this role, he contributed to the drafting, introduction, legislative process and eventual passage of the historic Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. Mr. Zavarello holds a degree in Economics from Northwestern University.
