Michelle Levy-Benitez has over a decade of experience in domestic and international economic development, as well as substantial experience with the federal budget and appropriations process. Her policy areas of expertise include financial services for the under-banked, and community development. Michelle also specializes in nonprofit government relations management. She most recently served as a staffer for two Members of Congress, and secured enactment of a telecommunications bill to protect the interests of underserved and marginalized populations. While working on Capitol Hill, she served on the Board of the Lesbian and Gay Congressional Staffers Association, and was an active member of the Congressional Hispanic Staffers Association. Michelle is a graduate of Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL, where she was a Division II basketball scholarship athlete. She also attended the University of Seville School of Business in Spain.
