Immigration
The election of President Biden marked an important turning point for American immigration policy. After four years of travel restrictions, an emphasis on border security and policies that targeted immigrants with deportation, the White House and congressional Democrats have discussed providing a path toward legalization for millions of immigrants lacking documentation. The Biden-Harris Administration has increased the number of refugees allowed into the nation and extended TPS protections—a major reversal of the previous administration’s agenda. We have decades of experience on the front lines of the immigration policy landscape and deep ties to the House and Senate committees in charge of shaping U.S. immigration policy.
