Full Biography

Jimena Duque brings a wealth of global experience to Fuentes Strategies, where she has been a key asset since 2014. Her career began at the headquarters of the Organization of American States (OAS) in Washington, D.C., where she spent a decade specializing in high-stakes diplomacy, border disputes, and national security. During her tenure, she rose through the ranks to serve as Junior Advisor to the Acting Secretary General and Financial Officer for the Department of Crisis Prevention and Special Missions.
Following her diplomatic career, Jimena expanded her expertise into the Middle East and the private sector, focusing on sustainability and the circular economy. She has served as VP of Business Development for an emerging innovator in the field of zero-waste and urban restoration, bridging the gap between environmental policy and business growth.
Jimena graduated Cum Laude from Boston University with a double BA in International Relations and Political Science and completed post-graduate studies in Comparative Political Culture at the Institute of World Politics. Originally from Colombia, her bicultural perspective and advanced skills in negotiation and communications make her an invaluable partner for international projects.
